Sanatan Prabhat Celebrates Silver Jubilee

A quarter-century of unwavering commitment to its cause was celebrated with fervour as the Silver Jubilee Foundation Day celebrations of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat culminated in a grand ceremony at the Dadar-Matunga Cultural Center in Matunga on 22 March 2025. The event, which drew an ardent gathering of supporters, readers, and dignitaries, saw thought-provoking addresses, an exhibition of the newspaper’s legacy, and a reaffirmation of its ideological mission.
Addressing the assembly, Hindu Vidhik Parishad's National Secretary Advocate Sanjeev Punalekar underscored the newspaper’s prescience, stating, "Sanatan Prabhat has always been ahead of its time. What Sanatan Prabhat saw in the last 25 years, the world took time to see. It had already raised the topic of Hindu Rashtra, but now the world is discussing it. It was the first to reveal the truth of the Malegaon bomb blast and has been a pioneer in presenting topics ahead of their time."

The event commenced on a solemn note with the recitation of Vedic mantras and the traditional lighting of the lamp by Sanatan Sanstha's Sadguru Anuradha Wadekar. Marking the historic milestone, a special edition of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat was released by the distinguished speakers, encapsulating the journey and impact of the publication over the years. A video documentary showcasing the newspaper’s distinctive features was also presented, offering a retrospective on its contribution to the socio-political landscape.
Adding to the grandeur, Sanatan Prabhat's Rupali Vartak, extolled the newspaper’s role in shaping the ideological discourse of the Hindu nationalist movement. She asserted, "Many features of Sanatan Prabhat are cherished with principle. This newspaper has germinated many national-religious ideas, which have later taken the form of movements and campaigns. With a very clear perspective, Sanatan Prabhat is exposing the conspiracies of the current 'deep state'. There is no doubt that Sanatan Prabhat, which will become an integral part of the Hindu ecosystem, will be inscribed in golden letters in the history of Hindu nation-building."

Attendees explored a specially-curated exhibition that showcased Sanatan Prabhat’s historical milestones, alongside a book exhibition covering a spectrum of national-religious themes.
A moment of reverence was observed as the auspicious message of Sachchidananda Parabrahma Dr. Jayant Athavale, the guiding force behind the newspaper, was read aloud by Sanatan Prabhat's Pritam Nachankar.
