Fans were thrilled as Tendulkar stood shoulder to shoulder with his intricately designed wax figure, originally unveiled in 2014.
Representing his lasting influence on cricket and its global fanbase, Tendulkar's storied career has been honoured by the world-renowned wax museum on multiple occasions, beginning with his first figure at Madame Tussauds London in 2009. Since then, five additional figures have been crafted in his honour.
Lovingly known as the "Master Blaster," Tendulkar has captivated cricket enthusiasts worldwide with his unmatched skill and sportsmanship, earning his place among the greatest batsmen in cricket history.
Spanning over two decades, his international career is studded with numerous records, including the highest run-scorer in both Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket. He remains the sole player to have achieved one hundred international centuries, solidifying his status as a cricketing icon.
Throughout his distinguished career, Tendulkar has earned profound respect and admiration from fans and fellow players, securing his legacy as a true legend of the sport.
From June 10, until the World Cup Finals on June 29, Tendulkar’s wax figure will be available for free for fan interactions and photographs in the lobby of Madame Tussauds New York, before it takes its permanent place among the wax figures of other sporting greats.
