From the nation's extremities—Dinjan in the East, Dwarka in the West, and Dhanushkodi in the South—three contingents, each comprising eight riders, have set forth on this epochal voyage. Their passage across the nation's varied landscapes and formidable pathways is a reflection of the solidarity and fortitude of our military forces. Along their route, these emissaries of remembrance will engage with the stalwarts of the Kargil War, the venerable Veterans, and the Veer Naris, ensconced in different locales. They will also render salutes at the War Memorials they encounter, fostering remembrance and inspiring the nation's youth to heed the call of duty.

The Eastern Caravan will journey from Dinjan to Delhi, navigating through Jorhat, Guwahati, Binaguri, Katihar, Danapur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Agra, spanning an approximate distance of 2,489 kilometers.

The Western Caravan will chart a course from Dwarka to Delhi, passing through Dhrangadhra, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, and Alwar, covering roughly 1,565 kilometers.

The Southern Caravan will embark from Dhanushkodi to Delhi, via Madurai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Anantapur, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Alwar, traversing approximately 2,963 kilometers.

Converging in Delhi on the 26th of June, the teams will split into two factions to press on towards Dras. One will navigate through Ambala, Amritsar, Jammu, Udampur, and Srinagar, covering 1,085 kilometers, while the other will advance via Chandimandir, Manali, Sarchu, Nyoma, Tangtse, and Leh, spanning 1,509 kilometers. The odyssey's culmination at Gun Hill in Dras—a locale immortalized for its pivotal role in the Kargil War—will not merely retrace the steps of valor but also stand as a testament to the unwavering resolve and sacrifice of our soldiers.

Ceremonial send-offs and receptions at key locations will be graced by illustrious figures, including high-ranking military personnel, Veterans, Veer Naris, and notable personages, who will laud the riders and the ideals they embody. Tributes will be paid to the Kargil War Veterans and Veer Naris, acknowledging their sacrifices and steadfast support during the conflict.

Spearheaded by the Regiment of Artillery, whose strategic acumen and formidable firepower were instrumental in securing victory in Operation Vijay, the expedition is more than a mere journey. As the riders traverse the nation, they bear the chronicles of bravery, selflessness, and national pride. This odyssey is not just a salute to the past but a beacon of the Indian Army's eternal spirit.
