The Draft Dialogues

The Draft Dialogues (TDD) tackle issues affecting the Media ranging from Freedom of Speech, Bias, Defamation, Ethics, Industry Practices, Self-Audits and Legislations. During TDD sessions, contemporary issues of media and the industry are analysed to enhance understanding, interpretation and critical application. TDD are widely attended by Media Professionals, Media Educators and Media Students Across India and Beyond Borders.

TDD were initiated by international news/media portal The Draft - the media arm of global think tank DraftCraft International. Earlier, TDD were held solely for Media Professionals, Journalists and Media Educators. However, starting 26 January 2021, TDD were made available to Media Students and members of the public too. The sessions are curated by Founder-Editor Gajanan Khergamker.

MODE: At present, owing to the COVID-19 situation and lockdown restrictions, TDD are being conducted Online only for participants across the world. 

DATE: First Wednesday of Every Month 

TIME: 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM (UTC)

FOCUS: Every month, a strategic issue affecting the media from across the world is analysed at length by The Draft and tackled through TDD where Media Professionals, Educators and Students partake.

FEE: USD 35 (For Students) | USD 70 (For Others)

REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Step 1: Fill the Registration Form below or click here.
Step 2: You will be contacted within 24 hours of submission of the form.
Step 3: Registration for the said TDD session will be confirmed, conditional to spot availability, and after fee payment.

The meeting details will be shared with confirmed participants one hour before the scheduled TDD session.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 72 hours before the scheduled TDD session

Seats for a TDD session are limited. Participation is strictly By Invitation and On RSVP only. Right to Admission is reserved.

NOTE: You may request for an exclusive TDD session on a key topic at a different day/time conditional to feasibility. Inquire for special charges.

OUTCOME: Participants receive a Letter of Participation for the said TDD, the findings of which are popularised through The Draft; published across DraftCraft International's fora and reproduced across media portals and in academic circles worldwide.
