The Mask Festival, as Bohada is popularly known across the world, is a fiesta that transcends generations as tribals enact roles complete with make-up and masks and dance in night-long celebrations to the beats of drums and sound of piped music, year after year. That is till their sons are old enough to take over their roles and perfect the act.
And, then an entire generation blends into the teeming crowds to watch the magic unfold before them...again and again!
