The Draft's Fake News Finding Verdict: FAKE!

Fact:  A truck carrying an abandoned India Post aircraft was stuck under the bridge in Durgapur on 24 December 2019. The incident took place on National Highway-2 in Durgapur. The aircraft was stuck in the middle of the road in Durgapur city in Paschim Bardhaman district.
The stuck aircraft caused a lot of congestion on the busy road. It is not clear if the aircraft was brought out from under the bridge. However, the sight of a plane stuck under a bridge on a road made a lot of noise in the area as locals gathered around the spot to watch as the scene unfolded.
Predictably, images and video clips of the situation made their way around social media to WhatsApp and in phone of all and sundry. As you can clearly see, in the two images from two different angles, a truck transporting the aircraft can be visible in the images here.

Proof: A Video Of The Incident

Mischief: The inability of the 'Indian' pilot to differentiate between the runway and the motorway and concurrently landing the flight on the motorway and getting 'stuck under the bridge' is a far-fetched theory spun by the usual suspects. Bashing all things Indian is a national pass-time for quite a few.
